CISSP All-in-One Exam Guide, 6th Edition

Written by Shon Harris and in its sixth edition this is the book to have when studying for the CISSP and as a useful manual.  The CISSP is described as “A mile wide and a inch deep” in terms of knowledge.  Some of the the chapters I found a little dry but then I’m an engineer more than I am an InfoSec professional.  It is an excellent book though and I still learnt a great deal.  Shon Harris does and excellent job at explaining complex technologies in a simple and easy to understand way. Sadly Shon Harris passed away on November 2014 after a short illness. This book has and always will have a well deserving place on my bookshelf.
